Prêt-à-Fit was born from a feeling most of us know well — standing in front of a wardrobe full of clothes and feeling like you have nothing to wear. Not because you don't own beautiful things, but because finding the right thing, for the right moment, that actually works for your body, can feel like searching for something that was never quite meant for you.

The person behind this app works in finance. She is someone who cares deeply about being properly and elegantly dressed — not for vanity, but because the right outfit changes how you carry yourself. It changes how you walk into a room. It changes what you're able to do when you get there.

She built Prêt-à-Fit because she loved fashion, loved the ritual of discovering something new, but found the process exhausting. Scrolling through hundreds of items that weren't made for her body. Guessing at what would actually flatter her silhouette. Never quite finding that perfect piece — chic, elegant, considered — without spending hours looking for it.

Style is not one size fits all.
It never was.
Prêt-à-Fit exists to change that.

We use artificial intelligence not to follow trends, but to understand you — your shape, your proportions, your aesthetic, your life. Every recommendation begins with your body, not a bestseller list. We search live, real-time listings so that what you see is actually available, in your size, at your price, delivered to your door.

The result is a wardrobe edit that feels like it was curated by someone who knows you. Because, in a way, it was.

What we collect

When you use Prêt-à-Fit, you provide us with style preferences — your body type, height range, sizing, location, occasion, colour preferences and style inspirations. This information is used solely to generate clothing recommendations for you. We also collect your email address if you create an account or contact us.

How we use it

Your preferences are passed to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate personalised recommendations. They are not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose other than producing your results. If you create an account, your profile preferences are saved so you don't need to re-enter them each visit.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not share your information with retailers or third-party advertisers. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles. We do not store payment information — this is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment provider.

Photo analysis (coming soon)

When we introduce optional photo-based body assessment, any image you upload will be sent directly to our AI provider for analysis and immediately discarded. Photos are never stored, never shared, and never used for any purpose beyond the single analysis you request.

Cookies

We use minimal, functional cookies only — to keep you logged in and remember your preferences between sessions. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why is there a waitlist instead of the app?

Because we would rather open the doors late than open them badly. Prêt-à-Fit searches live listings in real time, which means every recommendation has to be a real piece you can actually buy today. Getting that reliably right — the right size, the right shipping country, a link that still works when you tap it — is the hard part, and it is the part we are still finishing. The waitlist is simply how we tell you when it is genuinely ready.

When will it open?

We are not putting a date on it, because a date would tempt us to launch to the date rather than to the standard. What we can promise is that everyone on the waitlist hears first, by email, before anyone else.

What actually is Prêt-à-Fit?

A personal stylist that starts with your body rather than with a trend. You tell us your shape, your colouring, your budget, your size and where you live. We then find real, currently available clothing that suits you — and explain why each piece works, so you learn something rather than just buying something.

What will it cost?

There will be a free tier, and a subscription for unlimited use. We have not finalised the pricing, and we would rather tell you the real number once than a guess now. Nobody on the waitlist will be charged anything without choosing to subscribe first.

Do you keep my photos?

No. Photos you upload — whether for colour analysis or to check whether a piece suits you — are used to answer that one question and are never written to storage. They live only for the length of your visit. Our full privacy policy has the detail.

What will you do with my email?

Tell you when we launch. That is the whole list. We do not sell data, we do not pass your address to retailers or advertisers, and there is no newsletter you have been quietly signed up to. If you change your mind, reply to any email from us and we will remove you.

How do you decide what suits someone?

Your body type and colour palette come first, then your budget, size, occasion and taste are layered on top. Every recommendation comes with the reasoning attached — how the cut works with your proportions, how the colour sits against your palette. You are always free to disagree with us; your eye matters more than our opinion.

Why don't you tell me my colour season?

Because we cannot yet do it honestly. Separating a Soft Autumn from a True Autumn depends on things a phone photograph does not reliably capture — the light you were standing in, what your camera quietly did to it, what you had on at the time. Warm from cool we can read with confidence. One of twelve we cannot, and a system that sounds precise while it is really guessing is worse than one that is honest about its range. So we place you in a family — warm, cool, neutral or deep — and tell you what that means for what you actually buy. A true seasonal reading is done in daylight with fabric held against your face, and it deserves doing properly. If we find a way to get there and be right, we will.

Will it tell me not to buy something?

Yes, and that is deliberate. If a piece is not going to work for you, we would rather say so before you spend money than after — better for your wardrobe, and better for the quantity of clothing that gets shipped back and forth for no reason.
